The Regular Style (standard rolled-corner type) and the Boxed Eave Style (A-frame type) both come standard with the horizontal roof design. The ridges of the steel panels on the horizontal roof design run parallel to the sides of the carport (front to back). The Boxed Eave Style Carport can be built with the vertical roof design. Each style can be constructed with either the 14 gauge steel frame or the 12 gauge steel frame. On a vertical roof design, the ridges of the steel panels run from the top of the carport to the sides. Most of the water will drain to the front or back, and some down the sides. Both roof types can also serve as the metal frame of any full or partial enclosure, or any type of custom job you may require. The Boxed Eave Style can be built with the optional vertical roof design. On a vertical roof design, the ridges of the steel panels run from the top of the carport to the sides. So water will drain down and mot pond on the roof. Also, leaves and other debris will come off easier. The vertical roof style is recommended and, in some areas, even mandatory for structures over 31′ long to avoid leaks in the roof. The vertical roof is the best for strength and durability. Also If You Are Placing The Structure Near Your Home, It Has A Nicer Curb Appeal.
